Chris LaRocco is an integral part of Harkinson Development serving as the Vice President of Development. Chris brings exceptional dedication and expertise to the commercial real estate sector, particularly in land development and ground-up construction projects.  He performs the following roles:

Site Selection and Analysis: Chris plays a crucial role in the site selection process, carefully analyzing potential development sites to enhance the company’s portfolio.  Knowing that tenants and users drive the success of any project, he analyzes the site based on their perspective in addition to that of an owner.

Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Chris provides detailed financial analysis and scenario-based forecasting for internal feasibility studies and potential project profitability. His financial acumen helps make informed decisions that drive successful outcomes.

Strategic Planning: Directly involved in the strategic planning and overall vision of Harkinson Development, Chris contributes significantly to the long-term growth and development strategies.

Coordination with City Departments: Chris works closely with city departments and officials to plan roads, utilities, easements, and onsite storm water detention. His efforts ensure compliance with local regulations and codes.

Marketing and Brokerage: In his role as a sales broker, Chris markets pad sites and generates leads for sale, ground lease, or build-to-suit projects. He coordinates all aspects of the sale process, from lead generation to closing, ensuring seamless transactions.

Project Management: As the project manager for all development projects, Chris is responsible for tracking and assigning tasks, ensuring that deliverables are completed in a timely manner. His leadership guarantees that projects are executed seamlessly and to the highest standards.

Prior to joining Harkinson Development Corporation he served in various corporate and independent roles specializing in Enterprise Software projects for Corporate Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and Information Technology.

Outside of work, Chris is a dedicated Crossfit enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his family.  He is married to Rebecca and they have two small children, Liam and Scarlett.  Also two fur babies: Nico and Baci.
